Adding Events

Adding Events is very similar like adding a Blog Post. Follow the steps as shown below:

  1. Log in to your WordPress website’s admin panel using your credentials.
    From the left-hand menu, select “Events” and then click “Add New”.
  2. Add a title for your Event in the title field.
  3. Begin writing your event description in the main content area. You can use the formatting options at the top of the content area to format your text, add headings, insert images, and more.
  4. Use categories and tags to help organize your events and make it easier for readers to find. You can add categories and tags to your event from the right-hand menu.
  5. Add a featured image for your event post by clicking on the “Set featured image” button in the right-hand menu. This image will be used as a thumbnail when your post is displayed in your blog feed.
  6. Add Event info such as Start date, End date, Address, Cost and Label.
  7. Preview your event by clicking on the “Preview” button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  8. Once you are satisfied with your event post, click on the “Publish” button in the top right-hand corner of the screen to publish it to your website.

Congratulations! You have successfully created a Event for your website.
