How to create an admin user account in your WordPress website?

When you request support from Fox Themes, our Support Staff sometimes might ask for WordPress Admin Login Details of your site to troubleshoot the issue your are facing or they might just want to to have a closer look at your website to address your ticket.

In any case, you need to provide us with Admin login credentials of your site. Now, there are two ways to provide us with these temporary admin credentials.

First is to create an admin user account in your WordPress website as shown below:

1. Log in to your WordPress website using your existing admin account credentials.
2. Once logged in, navigate to the WordPress admin dashboard.
3. From the dashboard, locate the “Users” menu on the left-hand side and hover over it.
4. In the sub-menu that appears, click on “Add New.”
5. On the “Add New User” screen, fill in the required information for the new admin user:
   • Username: Choose a username for the new admin user.
   • Email: Enter the email address associated with the new admin user.
   • First Name and Last Name: Optionally, enter the first and last name of the admin user.
   • Password: Set a strong password for the admin user account. You can use the “Generate Password” button to create a secure password automatically.
   • Role: Select “Administrator” from the dropdown menu to assign admin privileges to the new user.
6. After entering the required information, click on the “Add New User” button at the bottom of the screen.
7. WordPress will create the new admin user account and display a success message.
8. You can now log out of your current admin account and log in using the newly created admin user credentials.

Second method is to provide us admin access using a plugin called Temporary Login Without Password
